The Tcho-Tcho Expansion adds a new faction to Cthulhu Wars. The Tcho-Tchos are a human-based faction representing the physically advanced, but ethically repulsive Tcho-Tcho tribe with the ability to interfere with other players by worshipping their Great Old Ones! Your own Great Old One, Ubbo-Sathla, is a tool and slave, not an object of worship!
Unique among Cthulhu Wars factions, the Tcho-Tchos have access to three high priests. In addition to the standard power generation and pacing benefits granted by recruiting additional high priests, the Tcho-Tchos exploit this advantage through two spellbooks (Hierophants and Martydom) based around high priests. The other distinction of the Tcho-Tchos is the way they interact with other factions; the spellbooks Tablet of the Gods and Idolotry enable the Tcho-Tcho faction to leech off other players, and Soulless makes your cultists less attractive to capture.

This is version 2, the only difference between this and the current retail version is the score track is a punchboard rather than printed card. There is also some typos, however there is an Errata pack coming next year that will allow all people with OS1 / OS2 or OS3 to upgrade to the final onslaught version when that is released we don't have a price for that yet
Cthulhu Wars is a strategy boardgame in which the players take the part of alien races and gods taken from the Cthulhu mythos created by H. P. Lovecraft. The game is physically large, and includes sixty-four figurines of the cultists, monsters, aliens, and Great Old Ones that range in height from approximately 20mm to nearly 180mm.
The game takes place on a map of Earth. Each player takes the part of one of four factions incuded in the base game. At the start of a turn, players Gather Power, then, during a series of Action Rounds, they spend this Power to accomplish various tasks, such as moving units, engaging in battle, summoning monsters, building Gates, casting spells, and Awakening their Great Old One. When all players run out of Power, the Action phase ends and the next turn begins. Victory is determined by accumulating points on the Doom Track. The first player to 30 is the lone victor.
Driving the strategy are a player's wish to expand his power base, and his need to accomplish six tasks to acquire his faction's spellbooks. Each faction has a unique set of monsters, spellbooks, and special abilities, and has different requirements to acquire its spellbooks. All factions have multiple strategies open to them.

The High Priest expansion includes 7 High Priest figures. They all are the same shape, cast from the same mold, but they come in 7 different colors - one for each faction (Great Cthulhu, Crawling Chaos, Black Goat, Yellow Sign, Opener of the Way, Sleeper, Windwalker).
The High priest is a cultist subtype. His abilities does not change between the factions, but the application might vary.
The High Priest costs 3 and is recruited like a cultist. He generates 1 power during gather power phase, can create and control gates, and be captured, just like a cultist.
