Delivery

We at Board Game Extras work Monday to Friday but not on bank holidays.  We aim to get all orders out the door either same working day or next working day. The below timeframes assume you order by 3pm to allow us time to get orders packed up and ready for the postman to collect.

UK Deliveries:
Our standard delivery is 3-7 post days to the UK. Normally we use Royal Mail's second class or standard parcel service. However, at our discretion and especially when dealing with a backlog we will send parcels by first class and/or use a courier (especially on heavier parcels) .
Express delivery which is 1-3 days in the UK.  This is normally 1st class delivery but again for heavier parcels we may use a courier.  While we aim to give express orders priority, if they need to go by courier they will not go until the next day.
We also offer DHL 1-2 weekdays in the UK (please note that unlike Royal Mail they charge more for the Highlands, Isles and Northern Ireland and parcels to these areas are 1-3 days)  DHL do not delivery at weekends.

Please note post days do not include Sundays as the postman does not deliver on Sundays.


EU deliveries:

Please expect orders to take a little longer post Brexit and you may well want to use tracked shipping to track your delivery


Average delivery to the EU is 2 weeks and should be within 1 month.
Please note orders over 2 kg we have to arrange to send by courier as they are too big for Royal Mail's airmail service, which means that while there is a big difference in price of P&P between 1.9kg and 2.2kg there is comparitively less difference tthan say  between 3.9kg and 4.1kg.   So if you notice a big jump in postage it is probably because you have gone over the 2kg weight limit so you may want to make 2 order

Deliveries outside the EU
We now offer a tracked serivce and this can be chosen at checkout by changing the shipping option to Tracked Shipping 
Please note that we list prices for certain countries outside the EU that we are happy to deliver to. If yours is not listed please contact us at the above email as it may be we have not been asked before.  Please note that deliveries outisde the EU vary from country to country and can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 5 weeks.
Please note that you are liable for any import taxes/charges you are charged.
