The Azathoth Neutral Faction Expansion is not a playable faction.  Instead it adds a  Great Old One (Azathoth) and 4 sets of monsters that can be summoned by any player during the game.  Each creature has unique rules that synergies with the player factions in various manners and allow players to try new strategies factions they already own.
